Wills Point Independent School District is a rural school district located 52 miles east of Dallas on Hwy 80. We serve approximately 2700 students from a large geographical area covering 217 square miles, which incorporates areas in both Van Zandt and Kaufman Counties.

WPISD is a community that engages all learners in an exemplary educational program by upholding our core values. WPISD has high expectations for every student and creates a culture of unity, respect, and excellence. Every student receives a quality education that’s tailored to his or her individual interests. By offering all students a variety of educational paths to travel, they are provided opportunities to explore their interests. Students learn to discover, problem-solve, and think critically. Every graduating student is prepared to either attend college or join the workforce. All of this is accomplished through high-level instruction, an outstanding Career Technical Education program, and partnerships between the school district, parents, businesses, and the community.
