Free/Reduced Meals Information

WPISD Families,

Wills Point ISD Nutrition Department is updating its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-2023 school year. From March 2020 - May 2022, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) provided meals for every public school student from pre-k to 12th grade. In May 2022, the USDA grant program expired, and school districts that do not qualify for Community Eligibility Program (CEP) must now charge for school meals.

In the 2022-2023 school year, WPISD will provide breakfast and lunch free of charge to students at the Primary and Woods campuses. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

WPISD Meal Pricing for 2022-2023:

WPHS- $3.25 per meal

WPJH & WPMS- $3.00 per meal

Please note the above information pertains to Primary and Woods Intermediate
campuses only. All other campuses (WPMS, WPJH, WPHS) will still need to follow standard meal service protocol and complete an application to determine eligibility for free and reduced meals. To qualify for free and reduced meals, please fill out the application linked here.
