Welcome to Curriculum and Instruction

At Wills Point ISD, we believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life. The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is dedicated to supporting our campuses, teachers, students, and families by ensuring the effective delivery of instructional programs, resources, and services that promote student achievement.

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction oversees a wide range of academic initiatives and support systems, including curriculum development and alignment, federal programs, student assessment, professional learning for staff, instructional materials adoption, and family and community engagement. Through these efforts, we work to ensure that every classroom provides meaningful learning experiences that challenge, inspire, and empower students.

All curriculum in Wills Point ISD is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the state standards adopted by the Texas State Board of Education. Our instructional programs are designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation while fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

The mission of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction is to provide every student with a rigorous, engaging, and supportive educational experience that prepares them for lifelong success. We are committed to continuous improvement, instructional excellence, and fostering a culture where all students can thrive academically and personally.

Partnering with Families and the Community

Wills Point ISD values the partnership between schools, families, and the community. We believe that transparency and collaboration are essential to student success. As curriculum documents are developed and revised, we invite parents and community members to review these materials and provide feedback through the comment form available below.

Your input helps us ensure that our instructional programs reflect the needs and expectations of our students and community. If you have questions, concerns, or would like additional information regarding curriculum documents or feedback submitted, you may provide your contact information within the form so that a member of our team can follow up directly.

Together, we can create learning opportunities that inspire excellence and prepare every Wills Point ISD student for a bright future.
